Welcome to Long Hemlines~

Let me start by saying that yes, I know what a hemline is. And yes, I understand that it isn't the hemline per se that is 'long'. I initially wanted the username 'long skirts' because that is my main weakness, but alas that was taken. So instead, I combined it with hemlines, perhaps I should have called this blog 'Low Hemlines' as to avoid confusion. Let's put it this way, 'Long Hemlines' is where I share my fascination with vintage style, when the hemlines sat lower and the garments were longer.

Here on this blog, I intend to write about topics from vintage style tips and tricks, icons and films, to second hand, sustainable shopping and slow fashion.

I am rather new to blogging and cannot guarantee a posting 'schedule' of sorts, but as I learn and write, things will change hopefully for the better!
